About The Journeyman

Built by wildland firefighters and EMS providers to modernize hiring, communication, and operations.

Our Mission

The Journeyman exists to connect wildland fire professionals with the tools, opportunities, and community they need to thrive. We're building the infrastructure the industry deserves— modern, mobile-first, and built by people who've been on the line.

Our Story

The Journeyman was founded by wildland firefighters who saw firsthand how fragmented and outdated the industry's tools were. Spreadsheets for rosters. Text messages for mobilization. Paper for certifications. We knew there had to be a better way.

Our shared experiences—from the front lines of wildland fires to the complexities of running an EMS company—highlighted the inefficiencies and challenges within the industry. The Journeyman is a direct response to these challenges, built on the principle of understanding the pains and problems of those on the ground and those managing operations from a distance.

This platform is not just software; it's a mission to enhance connectivity, streamline hiring processes, and offer comprehensive training solutions. It stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to improving the wildland fire industry—making it more accessible, efficient, and integrated.
